Insurance Survey: A comprehensive written report with emphasis on the safety and integrity of the vessel and compliance with applicable federal standards. This inspection is performed so that an underwriter can determine whether or not the vessel is an acceptable insurance risk.
Pre-Purchase Survey: A comprehensive written report on the overall condition of the structural components and systems of the vessel, together with prioritized recommendations and a market price evaluation.
Damage Surveys and Claims Handling: Work with insurance professionals to determine the nature, cause and extent of loss for marine claims.
Appraisal Surveys: A report that gathers enough information to justify or determine the fair market value of the vessel. This would normally be needed for financing, estate settlements, donations and legal cases.
Underwater Vessel Inspection: Using diving services as part of survey process reduces the cost of the total survey to the client by removing the alternative option of having the boat hauled out in order to have an inspection done below the waterline.
Consulting Services by the Hour: Work directed by the client. Examples of work in this category include damage surveys, repair inspections, sea trials, pre-purchase walk-through inspections, and scheduled inspection services for out-of-town clients.
